Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Monstat, the total turnover of companies in Montenegro amounted to €12.72 billion last year.

“In 2024, the gross value of production reached €8.67 billion, intermediate consumption stood at €4.97 billion, while gross value added amounted to €3.7 billion,” the Statistical Office stated in a press release.

The largest share of total turnover came from wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, accounting for €5.65 billion.

According to Monstat’s Structural Business Statistics Survey for 2024, manufacturing accounted for €1.19 billion, while construction generated €1.27 billion in turnover.

The purpose of the structural business survey is to calculate indicators necessary for analyzing the structure of business activities, inputs and outputs of production processes, business performance, and competitiveness of economic entities.
