Citizens need a comprehensive plan to protect living standards

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The United Reform Action (URA) welcomed the Government’s decision to reduce fuel excise duties but warned that citizens need more than isolated and delayed measures.

According to a press release from this political party, they need a comprehensive plan to protect living standards amid rising prices and growing economic uncertainty.

“Reducing excise duties is a step in the right direction, but one measure does not constitute a plan,” URA said.

The party added that citizens expect a serious economic policy that protects their living standards, not occasional reactions once problems have already become too severe,” the press release reads.

URA representatives recalled that they had already proposed a package of measures aimed at helping citizens without placing an additional burden on the state budget.
