CBCG: 21,370 companies with frozen assets

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the statistics released by the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), there were 21,370 companies and entrepreneurs with frozen accounts at the end of January, 0.77 percent more than in December.
The total debt on the basis of which the accounts had been frozen amounted to €1.61 billion in January, which is 1,07 percent more than the previous month.
The debt concentration was comparatively high, with ten largest debtors sharing as much as 37.4 percent of the total debt.
Their frozen assets amounted to €601.2 million in total.
Of their total combined debt, 55.99 percent has been incurred by 50 largest debtors or only 0.23 percent of all registered debtors.
