Assets of 21,130 companies frozen 

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the statistics released by the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), there were 21,130 companies and entrepreneurs with frozen accounts at the end of September, 0.15 percent more than at the end of August. 

The total debt on the basis of which the accounts had been frozen amounted to €1.54 billion in August, which is 1.16 percent more than the previous month.

 

The debt concentration was comparatively high, with ten largest debtors sharing as much as 35.63 percent of the total debt.

Their frozen assets amounted to €547.17 million in total.

 

Of their total combined debt, 54.5 percent has been incurred by 50 largest debtors or only 0.24 percent of all registered debtors.
