Podgorica, (MINA) – European Alliance MP Nikola Zirojevic said that he had received a threatening letter and announced that because of this, he would again request an urgent security assessment for him and his family from the Police Administration.
Zirojevic said that the threatening letter arrived at the premises of the ES MPs’ club on Monday.
“The letter refers, as expected, to my latest discussion in the parliament with the Minister of Defense Dragan Krapovic”, said Zirojevic at the press conference of the ES MPs’ club.
He said that the letter states, among other things, that “the killers could go crazy”, and that “the most heinous part of the letter is the part stating: Watch your tongue, or your house will be left empty”.
He said that the entire content of the letter represents clear, precise and very direct threats addressed to him and his family.
“On the same day that this letter arrived, my attorney, Srdjan Ljeskovic, filed another lawsuit, this time to the Basic Court in Podgorica, against Minister of Defense Dragan Krapovic over the events in the Parliament, seeking compensation for non-material damages, due to the violation of my honor, reputation and personal rights”, said Zirojevic.
He added that he would request from the Police Administration to urgently conduct a security assessment for him and his family.
Zirojevic stated that half a year ago he had also asked the Police Administration for a security assessment, adding that this request had not been taken seriously at the time.
