Serbian singer sanctioned; nightclub fined more than EUR 11,000

Podgorica, (MINA) – The Bar police sanctioned Serbian singer Dragomir Despic Desingerica (33) for violating the Foreigners Act, while the nightclub where he performed was fined more than EUR 11,000 for serving alcohol to minors and several other irregularities, the Police Administration said.
According to the police, officers of the Bar Security Department controlled the nightclub in Sutomore on Saturday night, and brought in three people: Despic, who performed in the nightclub, as well as M.J. (24) and S.Lj (33), all citizens of Serbia, in order to establish their identities.
“After their identities were establishing, the inspector for foreigners fined all three individuals EUR 200 for moving and staying in Montenegro without personal documents, in accordance with the laws on foreigners”, the press release said.
11 minors were also found consuming alcohol, while one person was working without a required permit.
“That is why fines of EUR 11,200 were imposed on the responsible persons”, the press release states.
The police called on the parents to file a complaint against Despic if he had behaved inappropriately towards their children.
