Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The State Audit Institution (DRI) has issued a positive opinion on the financial audit and a qualified opinion on the compliance audit of the Final Account of the Budget of the Municipality of Bar for 2024.

The DRI found that, in all material terms, the 2024 financial statements were prepared in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework. 

Accordingly, the competent panel issued a positive opinion on the financial audit. 

The compliance audit found that the Municipality had not fully aligned its operations with applicable laws and regulations.

“The audit identified cases of non-compliance with the laws on local self-government, civil servants and state employees, tax administration, labour, state property, as well as certain rulebooks, which individually or collectively have a material but not pervasive effect, on the basis of which the competent Panel issued a qualified opinion on the compliance audit,” the DRI stated in a press release.
