Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Police officers and games of chance inspectors mapped 30 establishments last week that are suspected of illegally organizing games of chance and seized nine gambling terminals from six venues.

“Based on the mapping of hospitality establishments, police officers, together with games of chance inspectors, inspected 13 hospitality venues in the municipality of Niksic on Thursday and Friday, where there were indications that illegal gambling activities were taking place,” the Police Administration and the Ministry of Finance stated in a joint press release.

During the operation, inspectors temporarily seized nine gambling terminals from six establishments, along with a certain amount of cash and betting slips used for organizing games of chance.

The Police Administration and the Ministry of Finance stated that the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Niksic was informed of all findings and issued binding instructions for further measures, investigative actions, and the collection of information.
