Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Cooperation is the key to success in modern tourism, said to Montenegro’s Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordic, adding that strengthening cooperation, particularly in the field of nautical tourism, can help position the Adriatic as a recognizable destination.

Speaking at the Adriatic Sea Forum in Venice, she stated that closer collaboration among countries in the region could establish the Adriatic as a well-connected and authentic destination that remains attractive throughout the year.

“Our goal should be to promote the Adriatic not only as a place to visit, but as a region that offers quality, safety, culture, and a unique Mediterranean experience,” Kordic said.

The Ministry of Tourism stated in a press release that Montenegro continues to strengthen its international visibility through participation in the Adriatic Sea Forum, which is dedicated to the strategic management of tourism, including maritime, nautical, and coastal tourism. 

According to the Ministry, Kordic presented Montenegro’s views within the Destination Adriatic concept, which brings together representatives of leading Adriatic destinations and focuses on strengthening cooperation, connecting tourism offerings, and jointly positioning the Adriatic on the international market.
