Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Gjeloshaj, Montenegro’s participation at EXPO 2027 provides a unique opportunity to further promote its authentic national image, economic potential, and development vision on the global stage.

“Through a carefully designed presentation, we would like to show that Montenegro is not only a country of exceptional natural beauty, but also a space of knowledge, innovation, and sustainable development, a place where tradition and modernity meet and create new value,” Gjeloshaj stated in an op-ed. 

He also serves as the General Commissioner of the Montenegro Pavilion at Specialized EXPO 2027 Belgrade.

He said that participation in world exhibitions is of invaluable importance for strengthening economic cooperation, developing investment projects, improving the tourism offering and domestic economy, as well as promoting innovation, cultural exchange, and an internationally recognizable national brand.

“Specialized EXPO 2027 in Belgrade offers a particularly important opportunity for Montenegro to showcase the uniqueness of its tourist destinations and natural beauty, and through strong promotion of domestic production, highlight the innovation, quality, and competitiveness of its economy, as well as the country’s development potential,” Gjeloshaj said.

Montenegro will be presented at EXPO 2027 under the pavilion theme “Montenegro – Where Stone Becomes Value”, which will also be the central theme of its participation.
