Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Excluding the facilities that are not permanently inhabited, the average electricity bill amounted to €33.8 in June.
Elektroprivreda (EPCG) stated in a press release that the lowest average consumption of €20.42 was registered in Kolasin, while the highest average consumption in June was recorded in Kotor, where the households consumed €43.87 worth of electricity on average.
According to the power company, the bills lower than €30 were received by 62.62 percent of the consumers, the bills of 19.19 percent of consumers ranged between €30 and €50, the bills of 13.95 percent of consumers ranged between €50 and €100, while 4.23 households will receive a bill over €100.
A total of 151,610 consumers or 36.28 percent of the total number of Montenegrin households will benefit from a 38 percent discount on active energy, while 61,130 consumers, or 14.73 percent, received a 21.5 percent discount on active energy.
Households consumed 119.24 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity in June, which is 13.17 percent more than in May, and 3.87 percent higher compared with June last year.
