What happens when you give young people the opportunity to say what they really want from a mobile plan? At One, the answer did not remain just a brainstorming idea. It became a real product.
The story began with the One Business Skills Academy, a programme that brings together ambitious students and gives them the chance to work on real business challenges. One of those challenges was to create a mobile plan that young people would genuinely want to use and that reflects the priorities of their generation. And that’s how VIBE was born.
In partnership with the NGO Center for Youth Education and as part of the European Youth Card (EYC) programme, One turned that idea into reality for tens of thousands of young people across Montenegro. The new VIBE offer, designed for people aged 13 to 29, includes a 30 percent discount with an EYC card.
“The main idea was to design a package based on our real habits and needs, one that would provide freedom and a straightforward user experience, so young people could always stay connected without worrying about limitations,” says Adela Fetic, a participant in the first generation of the One Academy.
“We were looking for a way to give young people back their freedom and allow them to use the internet without stressing about data consumption. For us, VIBE was a feeling – being connected, without limits and without pressure,” added her colleague Antonela Garbin.
The new VIBE plans were not created behind closed doors or based on assumptions about what younger generations need. Instead, they emerged from conversations about their ideas and expectations.
