Fichtner urges caution during protest, calls for safety to be priority

Podgorica, (MINA) – Fichtner, the company providing expert supervision for the construction of the wastewater treatment plant in Botun, called upon the organizers of Saturday’s protest in this Zeta settlement, as well as citizens and competent services and authorities to prioritize public safety.
The company stated in its press release that it is important for citizens to respect the law, safety procedures and instructions by competent authorities and urged the citizens not to approach the construction site without proper authorization.
“Due to the announced protests on the local road in the immediate vicinity of the wastewater treatment plant in Botun, the Construction Supervision appeals to all citizens, organizers, competent services and authorities to prioritize public safety”, the press release says.
The company noted that this is an active construction site where, in accordance with the Law on Occupational Safety and Health and accompanying regulations, the presence of unauthorized persons is not allowed.
The announcement adds that the construction site is not a public space, nor is not intended for free movement.
The press release adds that all works on the construction site are being carried out in compliance with current regulations and under full occupational safety measures, with strictly controlled access to authorized persons only.
