Infofest records the history of ICT development in Montenegro

Budva, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Branimir Gvozdenovic, Infofest records the history of the ICT development in Montenegro.

Opening the jubilee 25th Infofest in Budva, he said on Sunday that a quarter of a century of this successful project was being celebrated, reminding that it had launched some innovative processes in Montenegro in 1993.

“We bravely announced a new era of technical and technological development back then,” said Gvozdenovic.

The Ministry of Public Administration announced that Infofest would again be attended by over a thousand registered participants, adding that it would present different institutions and major local and foreign ICT companies.

The Minister of Public Administration, Suzana Pribilovic, said that it was easy to appreciate the event that lasted a quarter of a century, gathering together experts, representatives of public administration and students, who still attend this festival with the same enthusiasm.

She said that this year’s Infofest was held under the slogan “The History of Future”.

“The Ministry of Public Administration plans to rely on the ICT to transform the public administration into a modern and citizen-oriented administration, in which each public servant uses technological achievements to get closer to the citizens and business sector and help them exercise their rights,” said Pribilovic.

Infofest, which has a status of an event of national importance, is organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and the consultancy company Biznis Link.

The festival will be open until the end of the week.
