Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – With its exceptional natural resources and development potential, Zeta is among the most economically promising municipalities in Montenegro, Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said, adding that the Government remains determined to continue improving citizens’ living conditions.

In his congratulatory message on the occasion of Municipality Day, Spajic said that, in spatial and temporal terms, Zeta represents a bridge between rich historical eras and the modern moment, as well as between the sensibilities, traditions, and economic potentials of the coastal and northern regions.

“All of this, together with its exceptional natural resources and development potential, makes Zeta one of the most promising municipalities in Montenegro,” Spajic said. 

He noted that over a long period of time, the material assets and human capital of this area had not been treated with sufficient care and responsibility, expressing determination that, together with the local self-government, the Government will continue to improve citizens’ living conditions.

“United around the principles of the rule of law, economic prosperity for all citizens, and European integration, and despite growing challenges, we are confident that we will continue successful cooperation in the fields of agricultural production, tourism, energy, infrastructure network development, and environmental protection, with particular focus on the reconstruction of the red mud basin and the remediation of solid waste landfills, as well as the preservation of river courses,” Spajic said in the message.

He also expressed confidence that with the conclusion of this demanding year, a tangible and certain European reality will fully open up for the citizens of Zeta and all of Montenegro.
