Third cycle of corporate governance training concludes with certificate awards

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In cooperation with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro, the Ministry of Economic Development has successfully completed the third cycle of corporate governance training designed for members of management and supervisory bodies of state-owned companies.

 

On that occasion, participants were awarded certificates of completion by State Secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development Ana Raicevic and Dean of the Faculty of Economics Mijat Jocovic.

 

Over the past three years, three training cycles have been completed, attended by more than 80 representatives of public institutions as well as members of management and supervisory bodies of state-owned enterprises, confirming the recognized need for continuous improvement of knowledge and professional capacities in this field.

 

Raicevic highlighted the importance of corporate governance for the overall economic development of Montenegro and underscored the shared responsibility of institutions in building an efficient and transparent governance system.

 

Jocovic noted that the Faculty of Economics has been organizing this training continuously for three years in cooperation with the Ministry, enabling participants to enhance their existing knowledge and further develop their skills in this field.
