Podgorica, (MINA) – The United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) firefighting aircraft has arrived in Montenegro two days ahead of schedule, Prime Minister Milojko Spajic announced.

He wrote on the X social network that the plane will provide a significant safety boost for Montenegro.

“The fire-killer arrives two days earlier than promised. We thank the Emirates, as this plane will provide a safety boost for our country”, said Spajic.

The Antonov AN-32P, known as the “fire-killer”, has a 40% larges capacity that the Canadair aircrafts that were engaged in firefighting missions in Montenegro in previous days.
