Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In cooperation with the Science and Technology Park (NTP), the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PKCG), organized an interactive event called KOMPakt.
The event was designed as a bridge between the needs of businesses and solutions for modernizing and improving operations, offered by institutions, universities, innovative companies, and the IT sector.
According to a press release from the PKCG, relevant information on institutional support opportunities (grants, incentives, training) was shared on this occasion, while programmes for digital and green transformation, services and technologies offered by innovative and IT companies, and ways to internationalize business and enhance competitiveness were presented.
In her opening remarks, PKCG President Nina Drakic said that the partnership between the Chamber and NTP is a prime example of meaningful institutional cooperation aimed at building a stronger business community capable of creating and incorporating innovations into their operations.
NTP Director Valentina Radulovic stated that the goal of the event is to inspire companies to leverage Montenegro’s existing innovative potential and to create space for new partnerships that can add value to the entire business ecosystem.
Positive experiences with institutional support were shared by Nebojsa Janovic of Paidt.
“We are a startup developing stock market solutions and NTP’s tenants. Before joining NTP, we had a vision of what we wanted, but through cooperation with NTP, we gained what we could only dream of: knowledge, technology, connections, and financial resources. I strongly recommend that anyone not yet an NTP tenant joins as soon as possible, it’s a place where knowledge and human resources gain entirely new perspectives,” Janovic said.
Executive Director of Trony Network from Kotor Uros Mirkovic highlighted the importance of such events, as it is rare for entrepreneurs, innovators, and institutions to come together around shared goals.
Presenting the Lead ESG Coach application, Milica Matovic of Alicorn explained that its goal is to help companies adopt ESG standards and regulations gradually coming from the European Union to Montenegro.
“This event was a perfect opportunity to show business sector what we are doing, assess how far companies have progressed in adopting ESG regulations, and present a solution that we hope will help entrepreneurs be better prepared for upcoming obligations,” Matovic said.
