Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Minister of Energy and Mining Admir Sahmanovic will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) next week to exchange experiences in the field of energy.

According to the Ministry, Sahmanovic will take part in the Energy Specialized Leadership Program, which is dedicated to sharing best practices in energy transition, renewable sources, and energy security.

“The visit to the UAE marks an important step in further strengthening the partnership between the two countries and reaffirms Montenegro’s strategic commitment to actively participate in global energy developments, while building a secure and sustainable path toward energy transition,” the Ministry stated in a press release.

T A central part of the visit will be a meeting with the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Mohammed Al Mazrouei, to discuss opportunities for deepening bilateral cooperation and enhancing ties in the energy sector.

Sahmanovic is also scheduled to meet with Masdar’s Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, as well as with the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Special Envoy for Climate Change, and Chairman of Masdar, Sultan Al Jaber.
