Podgorica, (MINA) – The fire at the parking lot of the Real Estate Administration in Podgorica neighborhood Masline, in which four vehicles were destroyed and eight damaged, was intentionally set, the Administration announced.

The Administration recalled that a fire broke out at the parking lot managed by the institution at around 4:35 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

“Based on video surveillance footage, it can be concluded that it was a deliberate arson attack, but we cannot provide more information, as the investigation is ongoing”, said the Administration.

They stated that they have taken all the necessary steps and measures in order to secure the site.

“We note that the current arrangement was inherited from the previous period and that the Administration is doing everything to ensure that national and seized property located at this temporary location are safe”, said the Administration.

They stated that in the previous period they informed the competent authorities that the parking lot does not fully meet European standards and that it should be secured by the Police Directorate, as well as that the fire engine should be available 24 hours a day at the site.
