Parliament accepts Zogovic and Vukicevic’s resignations

 

Podgorica, (MINA) – The Parliament of Montenegro accepted on Monday the resignations of Democratic People’s Party (DNP) officials Milun Zogovic and Maja Vukicevic from their positions in the Government.

Vukicevic served as the Minister of Transport, while Zogovic was the Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development.

The Parliament also accepted the resignations of Vladislav Bojovic to position of chair of the Political System, Justice and Administration Committee, as well as Milan Knezevic as deputy chair of the Inquiry Committee tasked with investigating actions of national authorities in cases of politically motivated murders and attacks on journalists.

The start of the Monday session was several hours delayed.

The Parliament alco accepted the resignation of Bosnian Party MP Admir Adrovic, while Parliament Speaker stated that the Parliament would notify the State Election Commission in order to fill the vacant MP seat.
