Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The National Tourism Organization (NTO) presented of Montenegro as a travel destination at the exclusive B2B event “Travel Open Day – Meet the World” in Rimini, Italy.

According to a press release from NTO, the focus of the presentation was on Montenegro’s diverse tourism products, with particular emphasis on destinations beyond the country’s well-known coastal regions.

The event brought together around 20 international exhibitors from different sectors of the tourism industry, including DMC agencies, inbound tour operators, national tourism organizations, hotels, and hotel chains.

“More than 40 carefully selected Italian buyers attended the event, including representatives of renowned travel agencies, tour operators, travel consultants, and event organizers such as Corsario Viaggi, Epiturist, Arcadia Tour Operator, Viaggio & Vedo, and Blue Voyager,” the NTO said.

During the event, NTO representatives held a series of meetings with Italian tour operators and agents, allowing for a detailed presentation of Montenegro’s lesser-known destinations and tourism products, which additionally strengthened Montenegro’s position in the Italian market and created opportunities for new business initiatives.
