Podgorica, (MINA) – The Constitutional Committee has nominated former State Election Commission Chair Nikola Mugosa as the Constitutional Court judge.

Eleven members of the Committee, from both the ruling majority and the opposition, voted in favor of Mugosa, while one abstained.

In addition to Mugosa, candidates for Constitutional Court judges were also Natasa Boskovic, Muhamed Gjokaj, Mileva Prelevic, Jovan Kojicic, Nikola Golubovic, Katarina Pekovic and Pavle Cupic, while Miodrag Pesic withdrew his candidacy earlier.

Bosniak Party MP Jasmin Corovic prior to the vote that he would not support any of the proposed candidate, because, as he said, the Constitutional Court would not have a judge from the Bosniak nation.
