Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to President of Montenegro Jakov Milatovic, the country has reaffirmed a strong partnership in EU integration, reforms, and the achievement of sustainable development goals, strengthening capacities and gender equality, including through the Accelerated Development Fund.

At a meeting with Acting Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Haoliang Xu, held in New York, Milatovic underlined Montenegro’s commitment to multilateralism and its active contribution to UN reform.

“I am especially pleased that Xu has announced his upcoming visit to Montenegro, which will provide an opportunity to jointly define new initiatives and projects in strategically important fields,” Milatovic posted on his X account.

He expressed confidence that the visit would give fresh momentum to cooperation and open new opportunities not only for sustainable development, but also for stronger economic progress.
