Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Deputy Prime Minister Nik Gjeloshaj said that Montenegro is strongly committed to accelerating economic reforms and creating a secure and stable investment climate for reliable investors from European Union (EU) countries.

He added that Montenegro is dedicated to strengthening economic cooperation with Belgium.

Today, Gjeloshaj welcomed Belgian Ambassador to Montenegro Frederik Develter, wishing him success during his upcoming term in Montenegro.

According to a press release from his Office, Gjeloshaj highlighted the excellent relations between the two countries, as well as their cooperation within NATO, and thanked Belgium for its continuous support of Montenegro’s EU integration process.

“EU integration is an indispensable goal for Montenegro,, not only due to its strategic importance but above all because of the values it embodies. In this context, investments from Belgium and other EU member states carry double significance,” Gjeloshaj said.

The two officials expressed their commitment to working together to further enhance cooperation in fields of mutual interest.
