Bar, (MINA-BUSINESS) – A Liebherr LHM550 mobile port crane has been delivered in parts to the Port of Bar.

The company stated in a press release that the contract for the procurement, delivery, and assembly of the mobile port crane was concluded with Liebherr Rostock.

“The unloading from the ship Ijsselvliet took place from 14 to 15 August, and the assembly is expected to be completed by 6 September,” the press release said.

The total value of the investment is €4.9 million, excluding value-added tax (VAT).

The Port of Bar stated that this major investment and the commissioning of the new equipment marked a new phase in its operations, which will significantly reduce and overcome the consequences of the natural disaster that occurred on 2 July 2024, when three transfer bridges and a grain loading tower on Volujica Quay were damaged.
