MJU sets March 2 deadline for Plav, Pluzine and Budva to appoint vice-presidents

 

Podgorica, (MINA) - The Ministry of Public Administration (MJU) has set March 2 as a deadline for the municipalities of Plav, Pluzine and Budva to appoint municipal vice-presidents.

According to the press release, the MJU carried out inspections in all local administrations, regarding the implementation of Article 58 of the Law on Local Government, which stipulates the obligation to appoint municipal vice-presidents.

It is stated that the findings showed that all local government fulfilled this legal obligation, except for the municipalities of Plav, Pluzine and Budva.

“The Ministry has submitted clear instructions to the presidents of the aforementioned municipalities for the proper and urgent implementation of the law, with a deadline for compliance set for March 2”, the press release says.
