Podgorica, (MINA) - Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordic was seriously injured in a traffic accident on the Lipci-Dragalj main road on Sunday, the Police Administration announced.

The accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. and involved three vehicles.

According to the police press release, Kordic was a passenger in a Ministry of Tourism vehicle driven by the ministry’s official driver.

“Kordic sustained serious physical injuries and was admitted to the Clinical Hospital Center in Kotor”, the press release.

The police added that S.C., who was in another vehicle, was also injured in the accident.

“An investigation was carried out at the scene. Activities are being undertaken to determine the cause of the accident”, said the police.
