Podgorica, (MINA) – Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandic said that he believes that the Parliament would elect the remaining judges of the Constitutional Court and members of the Fiscal Council as early as Friday.
Mandic made this remark during the session at which the MPs approved the Government’s proposals to amend the Constitution of Montenegro regarding the Judicial and Prosecutorial Council and the Central Bank (CBCG), thereby launching the procedure for changing the highest legal act.
Mandic said that he hoped that the parliament would also vote on the judges of the Constitutional Court on Tuesday, but that no agreement was reached in that regard.
“I believe that as early as Friday we will be able to elect all the remaining judges of the Constitutional Court, as well as the members of the Fiscal Council”, Mandic said.
He added that everything is moving in the right direction.
“Montenegro is showing great strength, unity, energy, dynamism. We are moving forward”, Mandic pointed out.
