Legality detector launched

Legality detector launched

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Chamber of Crafts of Montenegro (ZKCG) has officially launched a system that continuously monitors the internet, called the Legality Detector, which compares publicly advertised craft services with the official Register of Craftspeople.

ZKCG has called on unregistered craftspeople to comply with the law by offering them free assistance with registration, while registered artisans will, for the first time, receive concrete protection against illegitimate competition.

In the first phase, the system focuses on hairdressing, beauty, barbering, and makeup services, as these sectors have the highest number of illegal online offerings.

According to ZKCG, the Legality Detector is a permanent market-monitoring system that identifies individuals publicly offering craft products and services online without being registered or listed in the Register of Craftspeople.

The system covers all of Montenegro and monitors websites, online marketplaces, and social media profiles.
