Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Employment Office (ZZZ) organized an event today at the Information and Education Centre in Niksic to promote free IT adult training programmes for unemployed people to help them acquire modern digital skills and improve employability.

Acting Deputy Director for Active Employment Measures at the Employment Office Gordana Boskovic highlighted the importance of these programmes for young people and the labour market.

“Digital skills are among the most in-demand fields in Montenegro and beyond, and with programmes like these, we’re increasing the chances for Niksic residents to secure good employment,” Boskovic stated.

Head of the Niksic Regional Unit Aleksandra Radulovic expressed her pleasure that the promotion began in Niksic and confidence that young and unemployed residents would seize new career opportunities.

These programmes are implemented as part of the Adult Education and Training Programme of the Employment Office, within the framework of the Youth Guarantee 2024–2026, and are primarily intended for young people aged 15 to 29 who are neither employed nor in the education system,” the Employment Office stated in a press release.

This year, 429 unemployed people are expected to take part, including 13 from Niksic.

The training is free of charge, and participants will receive a nationally recognized certificate upon completion.

More information on conditions, applications, and programmes is available at the Niksic Employment Bureau, local employment bureaus in other municipalities, or by email at [email protected].
