Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro is building credible and friendly relations around the world, are remains firmly committed to its European and transatlantic future, said Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimovic.

According to the press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Ibrahimovic said that participation in the Munich Security Conference was an excellent opportunity to discuss Montenegro’s stability and European path with European and global partners.

Ibrahimovic stated that on the margins of the conference he held  a number of important bilateral meetings, including those with senior Germany officials on the Berlin process and regional cooperation and the Minister of European Affairs of Ireland, who reaffirmed strong support for closing all negotiation chapters during their presidency of the EU.

Ibrahimovic said that he was particularly pleased to met with chairman of the Munich Security Conference Wolfgang Ischinger, who confirmed his participation in the “Gavro Vukovic” Summer School for young diplomats.
