Podgorica, (MINA) – Acting on the report from journalists attacked on Friday in Gornje Zaostro, Berane police detained five people, one of whom has been arrested, the Police Administration has announced.

It is stated that, on the order of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Berane, D.F., born in Bijelo Polje and residing in Podgorica, was arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of endangering security.

The Police Administration said that work is ongoing to establish all facts related to the attack.

“Other measures and actions are being taken to identify all individuals who in any way participated in the attack on journalists and in preventing them from performing their job”, the police press release reads.

The police added that one person, whose identity has been established, is being intensively sought.
