EKIP: Fewer AVM connections

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The number of active connections for the distribution of audiovisual media (AVM) content to end users via various platforms stood at 267,190 in November last year, 0.57 percent fewer compared to October.
According to a report by the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP), the number of users was 0.23 percent higher compared to the same period in 2024.
Of the total number, there were 114.810 cable distribution (CDS) connections, 96,060 IPTV connections, 49,490 direct-to-home (DTH) connections, and 6,830 DVB-T2 connections.
In percentage terms, the CDS platform accounted for 42.97 percent, IPTV for 35.95 percent, DTH for 18.52 percent, while DVB-T2 accounted for 2.56 percent.
Of the total number of active connections for the distribution of AVM content to end users, 94.69 percent were residential users, while 5.31 percent were business users.
