Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The conceptual design for the Velje Brdo Boulevard has been completed, and a call for contractors for the construction works on the boulevard will be launched by the end of the year, the ministries of public works and of spatial planning, urbanism, and state property announced.

They stated that, in addition to the boulevard route, the completed conceptual design for the Velje Brdo Boulevard, along with supporting infrastructure, includes traffic signalization, hydro-technical and electro-technical installations, as well as slope protection.

“This has created the conditions for completing the main design for this roadway, and a call for contractors for the construction works on the boulevard will be launched by the end of the year,” the press release reads. 

It is noted that a public procurement call for hydro-technical infrastructure is expected to be issued this week, which will finalize the matters of water supply and wastewater drainage for the future complex.

“With close cooperation between the ministries of public works and of spatial planning, urbanism, and state property, all necessary conditions have been met for the urban-architectural call for block A1, marking the phase of concrete shaping of an entirely new and modern neighbourhood,” the press release reads.

The procedure for launching this very important call is initiated by the ministry headed by Minister Slaven Radunovic, while the entire process is financed by the Ministry of Public Works.
