CBCG signs scholarship agreements signed with second generation of students
- Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The second generation of students selected through the Central Bank of Montenegro’s competition “AcKnowledge the Knowledge – a Chance for the Best”, signed scholarship agreements for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The second generation of students selected through the Central Bank of Montenegro’s competition “AcKnowledge the Knowledge – a Chance for the Best”, signed scholarship agreements for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The CBCG scholarships, amounting to €650 per month, have been awarded to ten final-year undergraduate and master’s students: Milica Vujosevic, Tijana Kustudic, Enita Softic, Ognjen Sekulovic, Luka Ljumovic, Amar Cirgic, Jana Mrvaljevic, Ljubica Popovic, Nikolina Raicevic, and Balsa Misurovic.
“The selection criteria included academic performance, completion of all exams from previous academic years, proficiency in English, awards received at national and/or international competitions, social engagement through student or other organizations promoting diversity and inclusion, and engagement in activities for the public good, as well as student’s attendance in a programme that corresponds to the business needs and priorities of the CBCG,” stated a press release from the Central Bank.
In line with CBCG’s capacities and needs, the scholarship holders will also have the opportunity to undertake student internships and/or professional traineeships with the Bank.
Presenting the scholarship agreements, Governor Irena Radovic expressed satisfaction that the CBCG, for the second consecutive year, continues to foster an environment that values knowledge and professionalism through such initiatives.
“’AcKnowledge the Knowledge – a Chance for the Best’ programme is much more than a scholarship. It reflects our belief that investing in education and the development of young people brings the most lasting benefit – the progress of society. Therefore, this is our investment in a common vision and future, in young people who will shape a modern and successful Montenegro with their expertise, knowledge and values", Radovic said.
