Podgorica, (MINA) – The Cetinje Basic State Prosecutor’s Office (ODT) has opened a case regarding comments of an offensive, threatening and nationally intolerant nature against Cetinje citizens, posted on the Facebook account of the user under the profile M.Dj.

The ODT stated that the case was formed “in order to determine whether the actions of any individual constitute the elements of any criminal offense, for which prosecution is undertaken ex officio”.

“Or, on the other hand, the elements of misdemeanor prescribed by the Law on Protection of Equality and Prohibition of Discrimination, which sanction hate speech in public discourse and any other form of expression of national hatred and intolerance”, the press release adds.
