Call launched for construction of Tuzi–Mataguzi road 

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Ministry of Public Works has launched a call for the construction of the Tuzi–Mataguzi road, with a total value of €4.3 million, marking the beginning of the implementation of one of the key infrastructure projects for the Municipality of Tuzi.

 

“This project is the result of joint and coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Public Works, led by Minister Majda Adzovic, and the Municipality of Tuzi,” Deputy Prime Minister Nik Gjeloshaj and Minister of Public Works Majda Adzovic said in a press release. 

 

According to the press release, the Tuzi–Mataguzi road is expected to improve transport connectivity, enhance the quality of life of citizens, and create additional opportunities for the economic development of this area, which has long awaited such an investment. 

 

A number of projects of importance for the Municipality of Tuzi are also in the pipeline, including the construction of sports halls in Dinosa and Sukuruc, the reconstruction of the cultural center in Sukuruc, as well as the reconstruction of the Tuzi–Miljes–Dinosa road.

 

“Most importantly, preparations are underway for issuing a tender for the construction of a modern sports center, to be located in the very center of Tuzi, which will create conditions for the development of sports and recreational facilities at the highest level,” the press release said.
