Podgorica, (MINA)  - Democratic People’s Party MP Vladislav Bojovic has resigned from the position of chair of the Political System, Judiciary and Administration Committee.

In a letter addressed to Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandic, Bojovic stated that he had performed the duties of the Committee chair as a member of the parliamentary majority, and that from now on he would act as a member of the opposition.

“I inform you of my resignation from the position of chair of the Political System, Judiciary and Administration Committee, considering that I performed this duty as a member of the parliamentary majority, and that from now on I will act as an opposition MP”, said Bojovic.

His party colleague Milan Knezevic also resigned to the position of deputy chair of the Inquiry Committee tasked with investigating the activities of state institutions in cases of politically motivated murders and attacks on journalists and intellectuals. 

“Considering that I held this position as a parliamentary majority representative,  I believe that my resignation is a responsible, moral and logical act”,
