Asphalt plant in Busnjani operating at full capacity

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Pljevlja Coalmine, the asphalt plant in Busnjani has resumed production after successfully completing overhaul works at the end of July.

 

With this project, the Coalmine has further strengthened its construction division and reaffirmed its commitment to viewing the just transition of northern Montenegro as an opportunity for development. 

 

Executive Director of the Coalmine, Nemanja Lakovic said that the Maintenance Unit carried out an excellent overhaul of the entire plant, followed by the launch of trial operations.

 

“So far, we have produced around 820 tons of asphalt. Next year, we expect to operate at full capacity,” Laković said.

 

He added that the asphalt plant in Busnjani will be an important addition to the Coalmine’s construction division, which is already implementing projects for the Eco-Fund, the Municipality of Pljevlja, and other investors.
