Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Milun Zogovic presented Montenegro as a tourist destination at one of the world’s largest investment forums in Dubai, highlighting its potential as one of the most attractive countries in the region.
A Government delegation participated in the CEE–UAE Strategic Economic Forum in Dubai, held during Investopia, one of the largest and most influential global investment conferences.
At the event, Zogovic encouraged all attending investors and partners to spend their holidays in Montenegro, enjoy the beauty of the country, and see for themselves the opportunities it offers.
The central part of the forum featured a session titled “Geopolitical & Geo-economic Restructuring: Opportunities for UAE–CEE Cooperation”, featuring Chairman of Investopia Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, who is also the UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, and Zogovic.
The main topic of the summit was the development of corridors connecting Central and Eastern Europe with the UAE.
Particular emphasis was placed on development opportunities in infrastructure, smart technologies, tourism and agriculture, renewable energy sources, and healthy food production, identified as key investment, economic, and financial bridges for stronger cooperation between the UAE and Central and Eastern European countries.
“By participating in this prestigious international event, Montenegro has further confirmed that, on its EU path, it will remain dedicated to deepening economic relations as well as strengthening its role within regional partnerships,” stated a press release from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.
