ZICG: €3.75 million paid

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Railway Infrastructure Company (ZICG), it received €3.75 million from the state treasury today.

“The transfer of €3.75 million from the treasury to ZICG for January, February, and March has been successfully completed, in accordance with the multi-annual contract and this year’s annex,” the company said in a press release.

On Tuesday, a multi-annual contract on the management of public infrastructure was signed between the Ministry of Transport and ZICG, creating all the conditions for the payment of employee salaries in the company.

The company had previously stated that this provided the conditions for transferring funds for operations and paying employee wages, as well as for the uninterrupted performance of regular activities.

Earlier, the union of train dispatchers at ZICG appealed to the Government the Ministry of Transport to urgently address the crisis caused by the failure to sign the financial agreement, warning of serious safety risks and delays in salaries for more than 800 employees.
