Tivat, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The regional Business Beat 2026 conference at Lustica once again confirmed the importance of regional networking, the exchange of experience, and the creation of new opportunities for young entrepreneurs, who are an important driver of economic development.

The conference, organized by the Union of Young Entrepreneurs of Montenegro and the Tivat Business Info Centre, has brought together more than 150 participants, including young entrepreneurs, startup founders, investors, professors, and experts from different fields.

“The conference is dedicated to knowledge sharing, networking, and strengthening regional cooperation, with a special focus on the challenges and opportunities faced by young people in a rapidly changing world,” the organizers said in a press release.

Mayor of Tivat Zeljko Komnenovic said that young people often work in fields for which they were not formally educated, demonstrating that flexibility, continuous learning, and adaptability are key to success.

Adviser to the President of Montenegro, Olivera Vukajlovic, said that entrepreneurship can grow only in an environment of trust and predictability.

President of the Union of Young Entrepreneurs Uros Bulatovic stated that participants from across the region gathered together to become stronger, more connected, and more visible to the world, with the mission of making the Western Balkans a region of opportunity rather than a region people leave.
