Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Ambassador of Canada to Montenegro, Serbia, and North Macedonia Michelle Cameron said that entrepreneurship requires stepping out of the comfort zone, connecting different knowledge and ideas, and having the courage to try even when the outcome is uncertain.
She visited the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG) to greet participants of the LEADER training for young entrepreneurs, organized in cooperation with the prestigious Ivey Business School from Canada.
Cameron met with the Chamber’s Vice President Nikola Vujovic, Director of the International Cooperation Sector Dusan Radonjic, and Director of the Education and Quality Sector Mladen Perazic.
“Montenegro’s progress toward the European Union (EU) was discussed, along with the main challenges on that path, including the need to align the education system with labour market needs, strengthen the capacity to absorb EU funds through projects, as well as the necessity of developing entrepreneurship and digital transformation to make administration and business operations more efficient,” the PKCG said in a press release.
The important role of the Chamber as the umbrella business association in preparing Montenegrin companies for integration into the EU single market was also emphasized.
