Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The winner of the national pre-acceleration programme BoostMeUp – Montenegro Pitching Competition 2026, successfully held this weekend in Podgorica, is the team VicIT, which has developed a solution for patients with hydrocephalus.
The winner of the BoostMeUp 5.0 programme, team VicIT, was awarded a cash prize of €15,000.
They are developing a system for real-time measuring intracranial pressure in patients with hydrocephalus.
The second-ranking team, SAMST, won €10,000 for a smart solution for monitoring and preventive analysis of the condition of power transmission poles.
The system tracks temperature, vibrations, and electromagnetic radiation, and uses AI analysis to detect potential faults and anomalies.
Third place, awarded €7,000, went to the team Black Mountain Brigands, which will use the funds for the further development of the historically based video game ‘Tribute in Blood’, set in 18th-century Montenegro.
By combining local history with universal themes, the game has the potential to position itself as a competitive product on the international market.
In the presence of representatives of the investment community, partners, and key stakeholders of Montenegro’s innovation ecosystem, 11 selected teams presented their ideas.
BoostMeUp is the flagship programme and the culmination of the annual work of the Tehnopolis Business Incubator, aimed at building a system in which startup success is not a matter of chance, but the result of structured support, mentorship, and development.
