Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Montenegro today stands firmly and confidently on its European path, determined to continue reforms, strengthen the economy, and preserve financial stability in the interest of all citizens, said Finance Minister Novica Vukovic.

“Our goal is not only economic development, but also a state of equal opportunities, security, and trust in institutions,” Vukovic said in a statement marking the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Montenegro’s independence.

He added that the two decades since the restoration of independence have shown that a country is built and preserved through responsible decisions, stable institutions, and a clear vision for the future. 

“Independence is not only a historical achievement. It is also a daily responsibility to build a stronger, more stable, and more successful Montenegro for future generations,” Vukovic said.
