Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Tenants’ Association, the Velje Brdo project is not only an infrastructure undertaking, but also an important social opportunity to systematically address the housing issue of tenants after several decades.

The Tenants’ Association sees this phase as an encouraging beginning, providing grounds for cautious optimism and belief that things are moving from the level of announcements to concrete implementation.

The Association stated in a press release that it expects the further course of the project to be accompanied by full implementation in the interest of citizens, especially families who have been renting for decades and have long awaited a systemic solution.

“We believe that this project can be an opportunity for the state to show that tenants and their problems are finally recognized as a priority, and that through responsible planning and implementation, a sustainable housing model for future generations can be established,” the press release reads.

The Association added that they will continue to monitor the project’s implementation, while remaining ready to contribute to its quality and sustainable execution, in the interest of all citizens.
