TPP Pljevlja to undergo one-month overhaul starting 15 April

Pljevlja, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Elektroprivreda (EPCG), the Thermal Power Plant (TPP) Pljevlja will enter a planned one-month shutdown starting 15 April for regular maintenance and operational improvements.
The company announced that the downtime will be used to properly finalize the ecological reconstruction project of the facility.
“Over the past months, the boiler and new systems built within the ecological reconstruction have been successfully tested. During the shutdown, necessary work will be carried out on the equipment, identified deficiencies will be eliminated, and plant operations will be further optimized,” EPCG said in a press release.
The planned work includes maintenance of key parts of the plant, including mechanical equipment, water and coal preparation systems, as well as electrical equipment.
Special attention will be given to improving emission reduction systems and increasing operational reliability.
The total value of the maintenance works is estimated at approximately €740,000.
