Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In May, there were 251,080 tourist arrivals in Montenegro, 6.7 percent more compared with the same month last year.

According to Monstat, 228,950 of the total number of visitors were foreign tourists, representing a 7.28 percent year-on-year increase.

During the same period, tourists recorded 1.15 million overnight stays, up 6.96 percent compared with May of the previous year.

Foreign visitors accounted for 1.08 million overnight stays, up 7.35 percent year on year.
