Podgorica, (MINA) - Suspended special prosecutor Sasa Cadjenovic was arrested on Friday morning by order of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT), the Vijesti daily reports.

According to unofficial information, Cadjenovic was arrested in the City Quarter neighborhood in Podgorica.

For now, there is no information about the reasons for the arrest.

The Podgorica High Court lifted Cadjenovic’s house arrest at the end of October last year, and the only measure that remained in force was confiscation of the passport.

The SDT suspects Cadjenovic of being a member of a criminal organization that, according to the indictment, was formed by former high-ranking police official Zoran Lazovic.

Former Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoje Katnic is also named in the indictment.
